Wilbur and Marjorie Dudley and daughters, Amy Jean on the left, and Deborah on right, in their Community Union garden on Arlington Place. The gardens are planned to provide garden space for Madison residents who do not have sufficient areas at their homes in which to raise generous supplies of vegetables. The 26 acres of Community Union gardens were used by more than 400 persons in 1944. |
