Village Hall previously misidentified as a residence. correction rc'd from Pat Wegener 11/30/12. Per email from The Pepin Public Library (12/4/12): The Village Hall was constructed in 1908 and razed in 2009. A new village hall now stands in its place. It was constructed of locally made bricks that had a "pink" hue to them. The church in the background is the Methodist Church. Constructed in 1875 as the English Methodist church it merged with the German Methodist Church in 1915 and they used this building for services, selling the German Methodist Church. This church is still used as a United Methodist Church today. |
