Orton House
Harlow S. Orton house, at 30 East Johnson Street at the intersection of North Pinckney Street. Orton served on the State Supreme Court from 1878 until his death in 1895, the last two years he served as Chief Justice. His residence, built of Cream City brick about 1884, was acquired in 1938 by the League of Wisconsin Municipalities for use as office space. |
