The original crew of "Dave's Dream," the B-29 airplane which dropped the first atomic bomb on Bikini Island, in front of the plane at Truax Field during a homecoming tour. Last person on the right in military uniform is pilot Major Woodrow Swancutt, Wisconsin Rapids native and former University of Wisconsin student. Last person on the right (in civilian clothes) is Dick Johnson, former college roommate of Swancutt and chairman of the Waupaca reception committee, who will take the crew to that city's veterans' homecoming celebration.
DESCRIPTION
The original crew of "Dave's Dream," the B-29 airplane which dropped the first atomic bomb on Bikini Island, in front of the plane at Truax Field during a homecoming tour. Last person on the right in military uniform is pilot Major Woodrow Swancutt, Wisconsin Rapids native and former University of Wisconsin student. Left to right, back row, are Technical Sgt. Jack W. Cothron, Gadsden, Ala.; Capt. Paul Scenschar [sic], Rock Springs, Wyo.; Maj. William B. Adams, San Bernadino, Calif.;. Maj. H. H. Wood, Bordentown, N. J., and Maj. Woodrow Swancutt, Wisconsin Rapids.

Bottom row, left to right, are, Lieut. Robert Glenn, Anderson, S. C.; 'Corp. Herbert Lyons, Decatur, Ill., and Corp. Roland Modlin, Franklin, W. Va. [sic] At the right talking to Swancutt is Dick Johnson, former roommate of the B-29 pilot, and chairman of the Waupaca reception committee, who will take the crew to that city's veterans' homecoming celebration."

per a 2/1/12 email from Shawn Keech, an ancestor of Roland Modlin, he was from Franklin, Virginia not WV

per a 5/27/13 email from Dave Becker, the name Schenschar should be spelled Chenchar. Mr. Becker is the grandson of Paul Chenchar.
