Bedroom in 1929 Demonstration Home in Kohler, Wisconsin. The bedroom is painted in buff moresco. There is a braided rug and a hooked rug on the floor. It is furnished with a walnut set, and a cretonne chair in greens, yellows, and blacks. The curtains are green organdie, The bedspread is a lavender print patchwork quilt, valued at $4.50. There is also a green painted chest with vari-colored floral designs. This photograph is part of a scrapbook presented to Marie C. Kohler, chair of the annual event. |
