Historical Library Reading Room
View of the Historical Society Library Reading Room taken from the Visitors Gallery. Although undated, the photograph was probably taken shortly after the completion of remodeling in 1955. During this remodeling many of the original mahogany tables were eliminated, linoleum tiles replaced the original cork flooring, and the addition of overhead fluorescent lighting ended the need for the original brass table lamps. |
