According to Victoria Shallow, 9/2008. "The man standing on the road is the grader. The fellow driving the team of horses was called the teamster. The grader separated out the rocks and conveyed them into the little wagon in front of it. The driver of that team would haul them away and another wagon would take his place on and on." |
