Last Stretch of Buttresses of Power Dam
Elevated view looking east from the lock at the Prairie du Sac dam. Recently completed buttresses are in the foreground, with earlier stages of construction visible, including concrete forms. The concrete chutes extend from the elevated trestle, and the concrete plant is visible on the east bank. Note that the flow of the river has been diverted through the completed lock and power house. Men are working on the site. |
