Original loaned for copying by Mae Voy of Shawano in 1979. Note: in the 1910 Census, the McCarthy family was living in rural Grand Chute Township; in the 1920 Census they're still in Grand Chute Twp, but living in the city of Appleton. So we can't tell exactly which place this photograph was taken, but it looks like it could be a rural one-room school. |
