International Harvester Christmas Sign
Holiday sign illustrated with an image of Santa Claus advocating employee safety at International Harvester factories. The sign reads: "The International Harvester Company wishes you A Merry Christmas and A Happy New Year; May our Christmas be merry and joy fill our homes on this most festive of all days. May our New Year be a happy one as we look back upon the old and forward to the new. As we 'turn over our new leaves' on New Year's Day, why not add one leaf for 'Safety First'? Let us 'turn over this leaf' New Year's Day and resolve to keep the place where we work free from danger--free from carelessness or accident on our part. Let us have a firm determination that we will assist in reducing the accidents in the factories of the I.H.C. A little effort on our part may be the means of preventing an accident which might drive real happiness from somebody's home next Christmas." |
