Early Settler's Home on University Avenue

House at 622 University Avenue is the only survivor of the homes which housed some of Madison's early settlers. The house has had a number of owners, including Gottlieb Grimm, Hilar Flad, and Joseph Dunkel. Fifty-five years ago it replaced an older residence built on the site ninety years previously. 626 University Avenue building is next door on the left. |
