IH Historical Exhibit at Wheat Show
A cradle, model truck, International 8-16 tractor and several informational posters on display at the "Wheat Show," a "historical exhibit furnished by International Harvester Co. of America." The sign by the cradle reads, "This is the cradle, the fastest and most efficient method of harvesting wheat before the birth of the McCormick reaper. With it, one man could cut only 2 1/2 acres a day. No wonder ninety percent of people were engaged in raising food..." and continues, obstructed. |
