Wisconsin State Capitol (Third) Demolition

Workmen posing on the partially demolished dome of the third Wisconsin State Capitol, together with the hoist used for removing salvaged materials. This demolition took place in preparation for the construction of the present Capitol. The workmen were particularly careful with the destruction of the dome, as it was anticipated that it would be rebuilt on top of Bascom Hall. |
