240P double piloted coupling. This coupling helps compile the centrifugal pump that was purchased by Foster Wheeler Corporation and later used by Commonweath Edison. Falk caption reads, "Vertical centrifugal pump application 2750HP motor at 300 rpm, with a distance of 30 feet between shaft ends. Gear box will be located on an upper floor and pump two floors below." The male employee in the photograph is James Kolbeck. |
