Large Single Helical Ring Gear

A large single helical ring gear hangs from the ceiling in the Falk factory. This later component of a kiln drive was purchased by Allis Chalmers and used by the Cleveland Cliffs Iron Company-Tilden II Mine. Original Falk caption reads, "EG 50127 copied by Brackett on April 4, 1979 from retouching 1600-P30. 1600P30 retouching made from color transparency 275TF-2870."
