Woman on Farmall H Tractor
A Red Cross motor corps woman sitting on a Farmall H tractor at Herbert's Hill Angus farm. The original caption reads: "Red Cross motor corps women in Paoli and West Chester, Pennsylvania, took what might be called postgraduate tractorette courses. In the pictures several of the West Chester class are shown on the big, beautiful Herbert's Hill Angus farm where they did real farm tractor work on a variety of jobs." The woman in the photograph is possibly Mrs. P.F. Smith, Mrs. S.E. Smith, Mrs. Elizabeth M. Swayne, or Mary G. Baldwin. |
