See Image ID: 42233. The Villa Louis Collection documents the family of Louis and Nina Dousman during the latter quarter of the nineteenth century. The Dousman family, descendants of fur trade magnate Hercules Dousman, cultivated the life of country aristocracy and amassed the trappings of Victorian wealth and grandeur along the banks of the Mississippi River.
