Plankinton House

Elevated view looking east on Grand Avenue from the corner of Grand Avenue and 2nd Street. Plankinton Block was located between West Water (now Plankinton Street) and N. 2nd. It housed Plankinton House Hotel until 1915. The top two floors on the right have red and white stripped awnings over the windows. The bottom two floors have advertising signs in many of the windows. A horse and cart is sitting on the left. Caption reads: "Plankinton House, Milwaukee, Wis." |
