Page 34 of 70. Prophecy on page 33 reads, "The preacher that stands near we could recognize as Paul Toft the light-hearted high school student, changed to a serious devout looking preacher who is diligently working for the revival of Mohammedanism. The study of this religion in General History interested him greatly and on further exhaustive study made him decide to revive the old religion and attempt to make it supreme." The traces of Paul Toft's life lead us to Seattle, where he is recorded as working in a rubberstore in 1910. He moved back to the Midwest, and in 1917/18 we can find him in Minneapolis, married to Florence, with whom he had one daughter Lorraine, and working as a grocer. Information about Paul Toft has been researched through U.S. census data and other genealogical sources. |
