The following advetisement appeared in the Evergreen City Times, Sheboygan, Wis., April 30, 1864: "Patent medicines...Nearly every variety of Patent Medicines known to the civilized world may be had at the Sheboygan Falls Drugstore. Ayer's, Jayne's, Graffenburgs, London's, Radway's Family medicines, and over one hundred and fifty kinds...for coughs, colds, purifying the blood, and otherwise renevating the human system."
