Edmund Sternberg House
Edmund Sternberg house at 4214 Drexel Avenue in Lake Edge Park. Mr. Sternberg quit his job to build the house himself. Mrs. (Violet Pinneke) Sternberg, who is a clerk at the Wisconsin State Journal circulation department, is the family breadwinner while her husband is learning a new trade. The couple is living with Mrs. Sternberg's parents, Mr. and Mrs. Ed Pinneke, during the construction period, who are happy to help out their daughter and enterprising son-in-law. |
