Doublewide Sidecar Prototype
Ralph Hilgers, wearing sunglasses, is seated on his 74 Harley-Davidson twin cylinder, late 1920's model motorcycle. His motorcycle is shown with a prototype of a double-wide sidecar parked in front of The Parkway Cafe, on the corner of Superior Avenue and Juneau Street, owned and operated by Hilger. Ralph's mother Agusta Hilgers can be seen entering the Cafe. Ralph Hilger's son Rollie Hilgers is in a baby carriage parked in front of the restaurant directly behind the motorcycle. |
