Text on back reads, "SEVILLE, This is a Province of Spain, in Andalusia. It consists in part of a great plain traversed by the river Guadalquiver. It is rick in agricultural province and has great mineral wealth. The capital city is Seville, on the left bank of the Guadalquiver, 60 miles from Cadiz. The picture represents the costume of the mass of the population, who are essentially Moorish in appearance and character. The women are very graceful and dress attractively. This is one of the first Spanish provinces in which The Singer Manufacturing Co. established an office, and we have a large and constantly increasing business." |
