Text on back reads, "SWEDEN, a country in the North of Europe, forming the East and larger part of the Scandinavian Peninsular. The Capital City is Stockholm. The ancient tribes were the Goths and Swedes. For some centuries there was continual warfare between them for supremacy, but after Eric Edwardson they were united and the feud forgotten. The blonde type of the Northern races is shown in the picture; this girl is a native of Da'Larme, a mountainous interior district, where the old customs and fashions are preserved. The people are hardy, industrious and intelligent. Sweden has given us Neillson and many other sweet singers, in return we give her 15,000 of our industrious 'Singers' annually."
