Caption on back of photograph states: "Fox Hearst crew testing camera focus on scene which introduces Cyrus Hall McCormick for the first time in the film, showing first his hands and then gradually growing until he is shown in full standing before the forge working on the anvil. Camera mounted on a 3-wheeled dolly with flanged board track for each wheel and gradually pulled back with focus on camera changed as distance increased. Scene shows replica of forge shop interior.
