Film Crew and Actors with Reaper

A production still for the Fox Hearst film "Romance of the Reaper". The film was produced by International Harvester at Walnut Grove to celebrate the Reaper Centennial. A group of men are gathered around a camera behind a replica of an 1831 reaper pulled by a horse. The camera is set up on a rolling three-wheeled platform designed to film the reaper in action. The African American man in the center is actor Harry Wilson who played Jo Anderson. |
