Manistee Ship

The screw passenger and freight vessel, Manistee. Faint typing on picture describes the loss of the Manistee on November 16, 1883. The ship Manistee lost on Lake Superior on Nov.,1883, midway between Bayfield, Wisconsin, and Ontonagon, Michigan. There were no survivors: her commander, Capt. John Mckay, crew, three passengers, all lost. |
