Blending Fibers at Twine Mill

Men use machines to blend fiber for binder twine at an International Harvester twine mill (most likely the McCormick Twine Mill). Original caption reads: "'Blending the Fiber.' Each of the three men shown at work in this illustration has a different kind of fiber on his truck. Each must feed fiber in proper relation to the other two in order to maintain the correct blend. Scales pictured govern the amount of fiber fed onto moving conveyor of this machine, shown as the first breaker or combing machine.
