The negative number on the print (I-34650) is consistent with a date of approximately 1927. However, clothing and machinery suggest an earlier date. The negative number may be associated with a later copy negative of an original print. The photo does show signs of having been retouched. On the other hand, it is possible that the photo was an historical re-enactment. |
