Interior of Manhattan International Showroom

International Harvester showroom (possibly part of a dealership or branch house) in Manhattan. The showroom features an exhibit on an Attilio Gatti expedition to Africa. The exhibit includes International trucks designed specifically for the expedition. One of the truck was referred to in company advertising as a "jungle yacht." The original caption reads: "Interior of Manhattan International showroom with de luxe trailers streamlined with International truck-tractors. Showing elevated platform around the trailers during exhibit April 1938, when eight to ten thousand people viewed the display. Jungle setting in background." |
