P&H 10-Ton Traveling "Belly Crane" In Machine Shop

Interior view of an early Pawling and Harnischfeger type "N"model overhead traveling crane with a type "A" trolley. It was called a "Belly Crane" due to the arch on the bottom. The stencil on the crane says "Pawling and Harnischfeger Builders, Milwaukee, Wis. Capacity 20,000 Lbs." There are two men working along the left wall. Clerestory and arched windows line the walls, and skylights are in the middle of the roof. |
