Wisconsin State Capitol (Third) with Minarets

Chromolithograph of the third Wisconsin State Capitol with a U.S. flag atop the dome. The colored illustration was produced by the Milwaukee Lithography and Engraving Company and used as frontis material in the 1891 Blue Book of the State of Wisconsin. It illustrates the Capitol after the additions to the North and South wings were constructed in 1883. The minarets above the four octagonal towers were eliminated from the design of Architect D.R. Jones. |
