American Legion Clubhouse Robbery
Joseph C. Schabo, the watchman who lives in the Madison American Legion clubhouse at 110 East Wilson Street, is shown at left examining one of two safes that were robbed by three safecrackers who tied him to a sofa during the robbery. At the right is janitor William A. Tucker who rescued Schabo when he arrived at work the following morning. |
