St. Charles Steel Kitchen Showroom

Mrs. Oscar (Mary) Rennebohm, wife of Wisconsin's governor, presided at the formal unveiling of the St. Charles steel unit kitchen, at 548 West Washington Avenue. Also present at the unveiling ceremony were many leading home economists of the city. They included Miss Helen Cramer, assistant professor of home economics at the University of Wisconsin; Miss Winifred Layden, supervisor of the home economics department at the Madison Vocational and Adult Education school; Miss Josephine Pollock, assistant state leader of home economics extension work; Miss Loreen Jacobson, home economics director of the Wisconsin Power and Light Company, and Mrs. Luella Mortenson, home economics expert of radio state WKOW. |
