Texas Longhorn Cattle at the Shey and Strand Ranch Near Deansville
Rare Texas longhorn cattle, among the few survivors of that famous strain, are pictured grazing at the 271-acre hobby "ranch" of Ed Shey and Peter "Pete" Strand near Deansville. The cattle came from a governmental herd established about 1920 to save the breed from becoming extinct. |
