Ruth and Jim Doyle Christmas Card

Christmas card sent by Ruth and James E. Doyle Sr. Although undated, the photograph on the card was taken before the birth of their fourth child. The little boy with the cowboy hat, the future governor Jim Doyle, was born in 1945, so the picture was probably taken about 1948, the year in which Ruth Doyle was elected to the Wisconsin Assembly. |
