Montgomery Electric Company Truck
A man drives an International L-120 motor truck owned by the Montgomery Electric Company out of a fenced parking lot. The company building is behind the truck. The original caption reads: "The Montgomery Electric Company of Portland, Oregon, is the new Model L-120 International motor truck shown in accompanying illustrations. This concern is engaged in the electrical contracting business and one of its important activities is the building of transmission and distribution systems. It has done considerable work on systems for the Bonnevile Power Administration. It also has the contract for electrical work in one of the biggest apartment houses in Seattle. Its field of operations comprises the states of Oregon, Washington, and Idaho, and trucks are used to haul material from job to job in this area. The company also operates a retail store in Portland, which is shown in the background of the accompanying illustrations." |
