Hagstrom's Food Store Truck
A driver backs up an International L-165 truck and trailer owned by Hagstrom's Food Stores, Inc. to a loading dock. The original caption reads, "Hagstrom's Food Stores, Inc. of 29th Street and Broadway, Oakland, California, which operates 50 stores in the Bay area, recently purchased the new-type Model L-165 International "Roadliner" truck shown with 25-foot van-type Trailmobile semi-trailer. The truck is shown at the concern's central warehouse's loading platform. It has a wheelbase of 154 inches. Both truck and trailer are painted an attractive red. Hagstrom's also have a bakery and creamery plant. They have a fleet of 31 trucks and 12 semi-trailers. They operate a total of eight Internationals (the new L-165, a K-11, two K-8's, and three K-6's), all purchased in recent years." |
