The original caption reads: "International P-40 power unit operating American No.1 circular sawmill with 48-inch saw, owned by William Underwood, Box 264, Brooksville, Florida. On the average, 10,000 board feet are cut per day, with the power unit using 2 gallons of distillate (10 cents a gallon) per hour. After 2,400 hours of use, the power unit had incurred no expense for repairs." |
