ADDITIONAL INFORMATION
The original caption reads: "Fred Beckman of Beckman, Inc., Muskogee, Oklahoma; Kilgore, Texas; and Odessa, Texas, formerly chief mechanical engineer of the Muskogee Iron Works recently formed the firm of Beckman, Inc. to drill in and clean out oil wells on contract work with patented process which is in accordance with the method pictured. Using a servicing hoist for draw works, the generating unit powered with P-20 size engine for operating a rotary motor and an ordinary gear driven duplex Gaso line pump which is powered with one of our P-30 size engines. This firm drills in new wells after the regular drilling equipment has set the oil string of casing, or cleans out or reconditions wells after they have been shot. By using special equipment this is done by pumping the drilling fluid down the outside of the tubing, the return flow of the fluid, plus the cuttings and debris coming up the inside of the drill pipe and is discharged at the surface. When interviewed, over 400 contracts in the East Texas and West Texas fields had been completed by the process. The equipment was photographed on two adjoining wells in the Harper Pool near Odessa, Texas...I-2122-BB shows International D-50 truck with a C-40 truck engine directly connected to a Gaso pump at Beckman's headquarters in Odessa, Texas."
