The original caption reads: "Installation of PA-80 turned into P-100. Owned by Mogg County, operating gravel pit above 15 miles out of Pomeroy, Ohio. Theodore Beegle, county supervisor, in charge. Operating a 14 by 24 Alliance crusher, using 25 gallons of gas per day of 8 hours, producing 75 yards of No.2 stone. Maximum run, 117 yards in 8 hours. Most of this is limestone, not gravel. We could not see Mr. Beegle; therefore, little information could be secured. Miller's son is shown in the photo." |
