City of Madison's New Leaf Loader
Pictured is the city of Madison street department's new $4,000 leaf loader during operations in the 12th Ward. The suction unit, which is like a huge "vacuum cleaner," sucks up and grinds the leaves so that the truck can carry many times the capacity of a truck carrying unground leaves that can then be used for mulch. |
