Looking east across Pine Street at the F. A. Schwaller Music Store / Schwaller's Real Estate Office, flanked by Theodore Riel's dry goods and grocery store in the Florence block (left) and Jacob Wien¿s Chicago Store, which sold clothing and shoes, in the Haas building (right). A horse and carriage are in front of the Riel store and a piano crate is in front of the music store. A man and young child are in the doorway of the music store.
