Madison United Givers's Fund First Drive

L.E. Rolefson, director of the Lutheran Welfare Society, seated, shows the Reverend E.J. Van Handel, director of the Catholic Welfare Bureau, and two United Givers' Fund solicitors, Mrs. Theo J. (Josephine) Scheerer, and Mrs. Lee J. (Florence) Favour, some of the toys which he keeps in his office to amuse the many youthful clients brought there. The Lutheran and Catholic Welfare groups, which deal principally in placing children in foster and adoptive homes, are among the agencies taking part in the 1950 United Givers' Fund drive. |
