View from across street of two buildings on Water Street during the 19th century. The building on the right was built in 1866 by Christian Schumm. It later became famous as the old harness shop owned by Hugo Schwenker where Wisconsin writer August Derleth spent much of his time. On the left is the Naggz Building which was built in 1869. |
