Boy Scouts Receiving Ad Altare Dei Medal
Five Catholic boy scouts from two Janesville parishes receiving the Ad Altare Dei Medal from Bishop William P. O'Connor of the Madison diocese in St. Raphael's Cathedral, Madison. Vincent McQuade kneels as the Bishop pins on his medal. Other scouts who received the award were Jerry Ford, Barry Kreft, Frank Rabiola, and Robert Stadler. Church dignitaries are (left to right): the Reverend Nicholas Schneider, deacon; Bishop O'Connor; the Reverend Wayne Turner; and the Reverend Josef V. Cieciorka, diocesan scout chaplain. |
