Trudeau Monument

A statue of Dr. Edward Livingston Trudeau, a tuberculosis specialist, on the grounds of the Trudeau Sanitorium Historic District. Installed in 1918, the bronze Gutzon Borglum statue depicts Trudeau reclining and wrapped in a blanket atop a stone pedestal connected to curving stone benches. A gravel path leads to the monument through wooded grounds. |
