Milkman Making Delivery from International Model M-2 Milk Truck

Milkman delivering a bottle of milk to a woman at her residential home. Parked in the foreground along a curb is an International Model M-2 milk truck owned by Pevely Selected Milk Co. An advertisement for "Baby First Selected Milk" is painted on the side of the truck. The M-2 was designed exclusively as a milk delivery vehicle. It had a 118 inch wheelbase, 186 cubic inch four cylinder engine, Warner T-9 transmission, and IHC rear axle. The body was built with a special treatment of its wood components to resist lactic acid damage. |
