Judson House Slave Kitchen

View of the slave kitchen in the Judson House. Built circa 1750 by Captain David Judson, the kitchen features a large brick hearth and fireplace with tools and cooking implements. Two rifles hang above the hearth. Kitchen also features spinning wheels, a yarn swift, tables, chairs, cupboards with tableware and various household tools and items. Sign on far wall reads: "The Palisades David." The home still stands and is a museum today. |
