Allie Harveaux, an acrobat, in a promotional photograph for his balancing act. His body is parallel to the floor supported only by his right hand which is balanced on a beer glass on top of a piano stool on top of a table trimmed with a cloth on which the name HARVEAUX is spelled in buttons. Harveaux was from Washburn County Wisconsin and toured on the Sullivan-Considine and Orpheum vaudeville circuits from c. 1907 to 1912 as the "Boneless Wonder." |
